BREAKING NEWSSSSSSSS...FEMA has just decided to go ahead and help to fix our water systems. That doesn't mean we will have new pips.....
just with the repairing of the system.
Let's see...before the storm we were losing about 36 million tons of water a day, due to busted, cracked and old pips.
After Katrina only a little over 100 million tons...
Now...hummmmmm some were around 50 million tons.
But don't worry folks...we can still provide water to about 100,000 homes etc....
Yaaaaaay....progress.
Thank God, because I was really getting worried about flushing my toilet....
