If there is anyone out there who lives in the New Orleans area and does some neat art.
I don't care what kind. If it is colourful and hopeful send me a picture of it and you as well with a short bio and I would like to start to build my blog in a different direction.

I want people to know us. To know who they are helping and why...
I want to spread some hope for our future, for our children and for peace of mind man.
If you are a wonderful cook...take a picture of what you are making in the kitchen man...let us know your recipe and we shall put it out there.

New Orleans is made up of all sorts of wonderful people.
People who are just so darn colourful that they don't fit in anywhere but here. HOME man, home.

We are not only great cooks, but we are wonderful artists.
What makes New Orleans home? our food, our art, our music, our soulful people man, our swamps, our swampy weather as well..hehehheh...our fickle ways and joyful games.
Our history is just the tip of the stack man.

Let's build something here together and show this world and this blogging community that we are one. We count, we are incredible folks and we are ever so creative in oh so many ways without boundaries man and let's get the word out there and share it.
Let's bring our people home that want to be here.
Let's use our creativity to help our communities man.

I want to help. But I can't do it alone, so if anyone out there is also willing to join in let's do it man. Let's show this world how good we really are and let's let our souls shine man. Through our music, through our food, our art, history, secret gardens, washboard playing talents, and soul searching taps man. Let's do it and show the world we are one, we have hope, and we shall shine on man...
we shall survive regardless of the weather and all our ups and downs with such stupid political dealings.
Let' show that damn Wonka and his umpa's that we are better. We know better, and we of all shall let our lights shine.
For I have so much hope for my city. Hope for us all.
But we do need to stop segregating ourselves and strive for what is better not only for us, but for our communities. Don't be sitting there thinking that it is over there and not here...cause man that " here " can happen pretty darn fast.
So people, let's work together and fix our city. Let's see how much we can do for ourselves to show this world to show our government we are stronger then them, and not a soul can keep us down, and we ....WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES...IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION... ya dig man.
Don't repeat history, let's change history.
Let's make lemon aide out of our tears and share that joyful beverage with our family and friends.

I have always said about New Orleans.
" we have the best of the best man, and yet some folks have no idea.
We have soul, a soulful feeling you don't find everyday. We have our own style of class and a perfect way of being laid back man.
We know how to fan those flies from our face, we know how to put our feet up at the end of the day, how to play that music and how to enjoy all the wonders that are before our eyes, who gives a crap what someone else thinks that doesn't live here, I'm happy just being here. Being here with my family and my friends.
Just being here with my wonderful neighbors and ever so happy to help in anyway.

So let's do something good. Let's try to help our communities in a way we never thought we could.

We are colour blind people who love unconditionally. We accept and don't discriminate.
For this I do believe to be true in my heart. Otherwise we wouldn't be so mixed the way we are and I do so take pride in that mixture. It just brings me one step closer to God and all the colours of the world man.
