Legalization of marijuana...and why you ask?
Well for many...many reasons....hummmmm...like hemp products that are strong...just think of all the tree's we would be savin'...
Heck they could slap a tax on it and package it like cigarettes...ok now don't get all up in a huff and get your panties tied in a knot here.... let me finish ok...

Just think of how wonderful it would be for folks who have chronic pain ( like me) and sever nerve damage ( also like me ) .
Or folks who are suffering from cancer...( yes I do know quite a few, and I'm sure you do as well).
Hell they could use the taxes from the sale to go towards medical research man....
Besides that, I have never heard of any one dying of cancer from smokin' pot. Have you?

Why in the world are we importing beef products along with poultry and other's things we need to live on from China..etc...
I mean don't they think about our farmers here...Why can't we only import the things we can't get here...heck man we shur would save a lot on the cost of fuel on that one alone...
ya know like...why do we have to send our fuel to Canada to be "cleaned" and then re-shipped back to the states....like we can't build a company and employ folks to do that for us here?

I would like to know what ever happen to "made in america"? or "make america strong"...you know all those things you remember growin up as a kid..apple pie...hot dogs ( well I never really ate hotdogs as a kid, but then I'm a strange cookie to say the least).
I have nothing against other countries etc...but man our country shur is on it's knees and falling fast. Sad.

Now all the taxes we pay for our smokes man should go towards funding cancer programs....free health care for folks who are down and out and can't afford to pay the bill...hey man they can add on the taxes from the sale of alcohol as well to the pot...hummmmmmmmm...thinkin'...thinkin'

Heck man we could fund alcoholic's anonymous cnt's, and get the school scholorship programs going better...why not give back for our bad ( well ok...cig' smokin's bad folks sorry...hate to say it, but hell I do it and know better and I'm sure everyone else does as well...well know better anyway ).

The money collected from any type of driving violations should also go back into the city...
Rebuild those roads man...up keep for the streets, garbage pick-up...pot hole a fillin' yawl know.
like gettin' rid of all the graffiti on the buildings etc...
Man get those police officers out of the food pantries and make them work. Is that not what we pay them for anyway?

Put them out there on foot again and get them out there to be seen. Put them on bikes...have them pass a physical to make sure they can at least run a block without passin' out or stopin' to catch their breath...
Give them the supplies they need to do their job and the pay to go along with it...make them also have to go to continual education classes...just so we know they are up to par...
I'd much rather have a smart cop then a doolittlepooba if you know what i mean.

Make all those tuff gangbanger go to the front line in Iraq.

Now for all those rotten little one's out there runnin' wild...who haven't gotten into deep doo-doo yet...I'd say the first time they do..let's make them do community work.

Yaaaaaaaaaa just imagin...those little farts having to work the chain gang right along with the others..just cleaning and pickin' up other folks garbage along the highway...
Heck they can be put in the graffiti crew and have to remove all the crap that has been painted on buildings around town and on the el trains as well...then they can also have to clean out the public bathrooms...hahaaaaaaa give us shit ha? well let's give it back and make them pay before they get too out of controld.

I also think that what ever bail and fines that have to be paid for disorderly, and petty stuff...like public drunkeness..etc...should go to fund the public defenders as well as the procecuters...
not to mention adding to the police department's needs that can be funded through this.
Heck they should have a DNA lab in every station and it should be connected throughout the united states...so that we are all on the same page.
This way there is no mistake ( well we all know there will still be some made...that's life...)
when they have a crimminal that is wanted, dangerous, a child rapists...trigger happy gang bangin' dude or something and keep them off the streets...hopefully.

As much as we all may feel that if they are behind bars and should not have the chance to learn and grow...I think they should. We don't need any more heathens in this world then what we already have.

Education is such a strong point here...we need to teach our children about discrimination and why you just don't do it...regardless of colour, sexual preference and religion.
We all have struggles, and our bumps and bruses in this life time...so let's try to improve this country and help it get back on it's feet...

All teachers, lawyers, judges, and public workers...encluding social workers should have to go to continual education classes just to keep up with any changes in the law etc.

The hospitals should be responsible for the mistakes they make with their patients and there shouldn't be a limitation on when you can sue. I do think there should be a cap on what you can sue for based on the circumstances...
Hey..we would have to pay so why shouldn't they. In some states, the doctor's are protected from law suites..so what if you die from their mistake and live in one of those states and don't know this...man...your family is really out of luck on that one...

owwwwwwwwwww and for all those folks who move to the united states from other places around the world should have to speak english before they can become a citizen.
They should also show that they have means of finacial support, be finger printed etc...
like that would work...but man. We have to learn their language when we visit their country.
You know, scratch that one...maybe we should make it avaliable for us to learn all sorts of languages and be the better of the two...
but they shouldn't be able to collect disability or social security from the states unless they have worked and put into the system.

Our Government should also have to pay into the system. Yep, it is screwed up now...
I went through hell just trying to get my disability and let me tell you. I have worked since I was 14 yrs old. I also had two to three jobs at one time and let me tell you...it was not fun.
When I was young my mom went and applied for food stamps...would you believe they said no because she worked three day's a week for $7.00hr and only worked less then 24hrs a week.
But it was the fact that she had a job. Never mind the fact that she had four kids to feed.
The woman next to us at the time spoke no english and also was working part time.
She made a dollar more then my mom. Only had two kids and they gave her emergency food stamps.
A friend of ours told my mom to go back and this time use her maiden name, because it sounded foreign. She told my mom to play stupid...and go to a different public aid office and she'll get the emergency food stamps.
You know what? It worked.
My mom took the food stamps went and made groceries for the week and never got any more aid from the public aid office. ..
So we worked for a livin' hard. We were not rich. But man we shur learned what it was like to be down and out and pull ourselves up and be proud regardless of the situation.
My mom was a strong woman.

I think the rules for public assistance are way too easy for foreigner's to get. It shouldn't be a lifetime of support for any one. It should be limited the way it was meant when it was set up during a time when our nation's people really needed the help.
They should be forced to take educational classes...job training classes...be taught that the only way to get it is to work for it, just like we had to..nothing is free in this life other then love...and it depends on who you love for that matter...ha.

Hey man, I also think that for all of those folks who make the big bucks...they should have to pay a higher tax on the cost of living because they can afford too.

Speaking of which...we shouldn't have to pay taxes on food, clothing and all the basic necessities.
Come on now....this is a necessity for all of us...including bathing soaps man. So why should we have to pay a tax on them?

I find it funny when someone in front of me who is paying for their purchase with food stamps have a cart full of garbage junk food and pop and pay for it all in food stamps and have to pay cash for toothpast& toiletries. Why? because toothpaste, and toiletries are considered a luxury along with basic hygene products...yet they can buy junk food?
nawwwwwwwwwman they should only be able to buy the four basic food groups and the hygene products and toothpaste along with their floss and toiletries as well...
There is nothing worst then a smelly well fed person on welfare who can't afford to brush their teeth.

You see...our laws regarding some of this stuff really needs to be changed. Not just for one, but for all. We need to really think about things that our country needs and the people need and yell and scream until it happens man.

Our farmers should also be able to get help from the government and the one's that are doing good should have to give back to the food pantries in their area.
The same goes for big corporations. If American Express can do it...then why don't other big time companies do the same.
Just think of what all this money can do for our education system..for all of us.

Now if only we could do something about the devistation of our forests...our eco system.
Ya there are pollution rules in place, but I don't see them being enforced anytime soon.
man our country really is hurtin' bad and we all need to figure out ways to do what we can to try to fix the problem.

There is so much that needs to be changed. I don't ever think that will happen in my life time.
All I know is...my grandpa always said..

My grandpa was an amazing man.
He was two parts native american. He was wonderful. He was hopeful, loving and full of joy and laughter...he was a giant in my heart and my sunshine forever and always.
He was a very smart man who only went to the fourth grade in school.
He worked for the Tennesse authorization program.. he planted tree's and worked this land.
He also helped to build the first rocket that went to space. Did good for a "dummy" as they call us native americans back then.
He also owned his own store and went broke helpin' folks. But you know, he never regreted it for a moment. He always said" people need to eat, they need to survive, and sometimes they can't do that without help".
You know, when he passed away...I sat outside on the curb infront of the funeral home and just watched the line of people that showed up to pay their last respects.
It was on my birthday. I had never seen so many people from all walks of life in my life.
I didn't know a soul, but yet they knew me. Said "oh hey little tree, you smile like your grandpa, and he was a beautiful soul".
Yes that he was, and he sure did teach me alot.
I wish other's would follow suite and teach their children, educate themselves...and pass it around man. WE all need that rainbow above our heads and we need to work together to change this country before it falls right on it's face. It's almost there man.
So say a prayer for this world. For our military men and woman. Even if you don't agree with what is happening...which I sure don't..I also don't blame our men and woman who have been sent there to do their job. Just think of how hard it is for them to realize they are once again fighting vetnam.
Man what a mess...I guess if we have a problem with Mexico we can just go and bomb uh....let's see...were haven't we been...hummmmmmmm...ya right...let's bomb Puerto Rico...
Oh I forgot we have already done that when we were testing our bombs and such.

let's think about who we need to run this country and let them know....we mean buisness this time . They should be forced to start working on what they say they will do now...by the time they get into office they will be too busy fixin' everyone elses mistakes.
Really now, by the time they get to fixin' what they say they will..it will be time for another election...
So let's think and let's send out a list of what needs to be fixed and tell them to get to it...if the job is done right...well ... Hello Mr. President or Mrs. President..
