Well here it is folks, another hoopla to enjoy..."THE TAIL OF THE COCKTAIL"...

Now this is what cha wanna do before you go out bar hoppin' round town...
and when you go to this sight...I would like you to think of one thing please...
Our words of the wise from "Riley"..."if this were an ideal world, we would have the 2,000 officers we should have on force, but it's not" and then think....
we are short what? 300 policemen on force.
Short of what you might ask? well only short of 1600...so use this information wisely.
Let me also say...

We had a slight incident here last night...called 911 and waited...waited...the phone rang...rang...we got cut off...called back...ring.....ring.....
the same when about four other's called. Hummmmmm they must have been busy.
Anywho...the police finally showed up after..yes...only AFTER the perp got away.
What did he do? pull a black semi automatice from his waistband and shot at a couple.
Were? in front of the Quarter Master...more commonly known as the "Neli Deli".

Ok now...no the perp was not black, coloured or what ever you chose to call our fellow neighbors, friends and relatives.
The perp was a WHITE individual. Easy to identify...a skate border..
NOT A COLOURED INDIVIDUAL.

What is the problem with this you may ask....well...there are always police in there getting an all you can eat deal for $2.00 from there...they group outside the place.
Tie up the horses, take up the parking, the sidewalks littered with more police horses...yep, loads of horse shit all over the place as well.....usually left behind for the property owners to pick up themselves or left for the SDT guys....
so that is why this is bothersome. More things happen on the corner of Bourbon & Ursulines, as well as down Dalphine street, in that one little square...then what should happen with that many uniformed police officers around. Yet it does...
So you wonder why I am telling you this if we want your business and tourists dollars?
To help you out and give you and idea as to why so many folks are pissed.

click on the city services at the top of the page that will present a dropdown.

Do your part...be nice, smile, show respect and interest. Give a hoot dude...don't pollute...
Keep your dirty laundry behind closed doors...plant a tree, clean a street...help raise a child who needs help...educate...learn....contribute...It doesn't mean you have to have money...do your part in this world...help out and keep in mind.
What ever happens across the street could soon be in your front yard tomorrow.
So get involved and do something to help out your communities...even if that means to step up if there is trouble and call the cops...report a crime....
man we are just killing each other, we are segregating each other...we are only creating more problems by letting everything go to the way side...while pointing fingers at someone else...
So hey America....WAKE THE FUCK UP.
