You know...I have to say....
I am so sick of hearing about red states and blue states...
I just wish our politicians would get their crap together and just do their damn jobs.

Yes today is the second anniversary of Katrina...I pray for us all and for all we have lost.
I especially pray for our survival.

Katrina happened, and we can't turn the hands back on the clock.
WE must all move forward.
Pull our pants up and do it as one...
Not as a separate entity.
I'm sick of all the racial discrimination.
We are all guilty of it...we seem to have forgotten that we are all in the same boat.

God's watching and keeping score, so don't think nobody sees.
Help your neighbors, your family and friends...help your foes...you just never know what will
happen. I mean what happen yesterday is just that....

Why???? why??? why destroy the rest of this city, the rest of this state and the rest of
the United States with all of this crap.
Man there are fires all over this world right now....floods, earthquakes, hurricanes...
this is life.
WE are all in the line of fire one way or the other. I don't care how much money any one has.
You can't take it with you when you die sucker....so do something worthwhile with it...
Help.

We all need to keep in mind...this world is not ours....
we are only here as keepers of this earth for as long as God's willing to allow us.
We must walk lightly upon this earth and take care to tend to the fields..
Only take what we need leaving enough for someone else's needs and survival.
Man....what's up...am I the only one who sees all of this greed and destruction.

We are all so messed up we can't seem to use our own thoughts and minds to pick a president without following...or letting someone else make up our minds for us...
the same goes for all the government reps and congress...
what's going on???
Talk about letting someone else make your bed...
WEll folks once again...YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID....
but you can fix yourself. Now do it...
Think....teach your children to make their own footsteps in life responsibly, respectfully.
Don't just do the ol' "do as I say not as I do"...this is why we are in such a mess.

Negativity is so contagious. We must stop the spread of it and learn to live in the sunshine.
I know it is easier said then done...but if we do it a little at a time, we shall get there.
We shall overcome....we shall rise up above like the phoenix and shine people shine as one.

So think man ... now is your chance to make a change...just keep in mind...we are all in this mess together.
One falls we all fall...regardless as to where our door to our homes open up to...
we are all connected whether or not we want to be...
WE ARE HUMAN, now lets' act like it..
love yourself...love your family....well...at least learn to deal with them...lord knows I try.
You see...i know it is not easy...we just need to try.
Now that I know you can do....

I come from a long line of survivors....from the trail of tears...
of heart and soul I am...of fire and Ice I live...I survive...and I breath.....
For when I die, my soul shall become the Phoenix and soar to the open arms of the heavens above....for I am Cherokee inside and out....mixed with another part of Native American and French...for I do know my history of slavery...my history of savagery....of human survival...
of loss and gain...my heart knows....and so I breath...and learned to exhale.
To do, to help, to try to live my life in a peaceful way...without throwing too many rocks...
for I know, I will be held accountable for my wrongs...I only hope my rights out weigh the wrongs in this life...

we all need to learn to breath...exhale and breath....
live and let live...step up and take action if something is wrong...
let your voices ring out..don't just expect someone else to take care of it..
Or say " oh it 's over there..."
I'm a firm believer that "over there"...will be over here before we know it..

Now get it going man...fix this city and let it shine...man don't give us any negativity for where we live...this is our home. My home...this city is so important to the United States it's not funny....yawl should realize that by now...
so take heed and say a prayer for all of us...

I love New Orleans, my home....I love dem cajuns...they are my brothers and sisters....
Trust me....we have the history...some good , and some bad...but don't we all have skeletons in our closets...as for me I collect them...I like to leave them hanging in the extra room of the house to remind me I'm no different....

ok...that's all...Mr. Bush get your ass out of our city and don't come back until you keep your word...take Jefferson, Vitter, Jones, Riley, Blanco, Mr. Wonka and all of his umpa's with you.
AND DO LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS WHEN YOU LEAVE...IT MAY ACTUALLY KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO YOU!!!

God save the brain!!!! and let bush just blow it out of his ass in places that it counts...
just not here....we have enough shit to deal with....

May God bless all of my friends, all of my neighbors, my pet's and all the other folks and animals that have died in vain in Katrina. This was a man made disaster....
It may have destroyed our city, taken our loved one's and some of our history with it...
but it shall not destroy our hearts and our souls...
this little light of mine.....I'm gonna let it shine....
