O-tay now folks...here is the scoup...well poop at least...
Looks like Plaquemines Parish has problems with teens...the crime rate has gone up over there...

Yes, and....uhmmmmmm could it be that there is nothing for these kids to do after school and the government needs to start givin' out the money they promised for the rebuilding process....

Plaquemines Parish along with St. Bernard Parish really got hit pretty bad.
I think with the lack of mental health care, in adequate health care to begin with...and now since the storm...well that just makes for more problems then what any one can deal with.

Then you add on to that list.
Housing problems... the homeless on the streets, the drug addicts without a fix and in dire need of help....the cost of living that has gone up....
The lack of good schools here, and school supplies to begin with....like...uhmmmm
let's see.....maybe school books for starters. Like one for each student.
Computers....teachers who care and are educated. Which by the way...
I for one think that all teachers in all area should have to go for continual education.
Heck things change...time changes...rules for learning have changed. Right?! so get with it folks...let's give our kids a chance....and let's add on all healthcare workers while we are at it...

Like refurbishing Charity Hospital....one of the oldest hospitals still standing....instead of knockin' the sucker down...let's clean it up and do it to it man...get it rockin' again...cuz man we need the facilities ...the hell with all the "should it be torn down, should it be moved..." just fix the place and make it like it was only better man. Use what you have to build up from there...what's wrong with yawl...crazy I tell ya crazy...
all I have to say is....It aint' the heat man..it really is the stupidity...sheesh and I thought I was a really dull bulb...hummmmmmmmmmmm

I'm sick of hearing all these wonderful staff viruses going around. ya ya...pun on word...hehehehe.
But really man, some of that stuff can kill a person.

Ok moving on........ Folks from St. Bernard Parish and all around town actually gathered on the state capital steps to ask " where's the money for rebuilding as promised"...
Yaaaaay they finally decided to get out there and make a ruckus, man I sure ( shur) hope it helps to get some attetion....What I would like to know is...were the hell is Anderson Cooper?
Did he not say that he would help us yell and bring attention to all this crap? man yawl need to start emailin' him and lettin' him know what's up...

I will say that I do believe she got a raw deal.
She's admitted her mistakes publically as well as apologized.
Did Nagin? Did Landrue? hell even the Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrue didn't apologize and admitt any wrong doing. Hell there is blame to go all around the board...
But she was the better of them all and admitted her wrong doing.

Ok...so I have been giving her a pass green card and just paying more attention.
UNTIL...SHE HAD TO GO AND ASK FOR MORE FINANCAL HELP....
Then I just put a pillow over my face and screamed and hid in disgrace...
this is what she said to the news crew about what and why ...

" If I estimate we have a 4oo billion dollar finacial problem and ask for the full amount instead of just saying we have a 200 billion dollar problem...then congress will become even more aggravated with the situation...so you really want to ask for 200 billion and then go back and ask for more"...

Uhmm....don't ask...don't tell...don't explain...I don't know...now I'm really confused about how congress really works....uhmmmmm did I really miss something in that speach?

We need a rotor rooter to fix a constipation problem with our government...do you think they will instead give out free supositories to the public and call it a day? maybe throw in a few fleets?

St. James Parish...there is talk about a new plant being built.
A Hydrogen plant that would possibly employee about 300 folks...
now that's good news...progress ....mmmmuuummmmmm now doesn't that smell nice.

New Orleans....well our Ripley's Believe it or not museum is now closed due to lack of finances and visitors.
Hey man we have cleaner streets..what more can we ask for right?

This brings us to our weekely survey on WDSU channel 6 news...

"Do you think the federal government will give the state enough money to bail out the road home program"

Pick one...if yes..." the government recognizes the need for help".

Pick two if no...." the state's 'national image' is too tarnished".

or if your up to it...pick three..." the state doesn't deserve any more federal help post katrina".

New Orleans....well...our RSD ( Recovery School District) schools are too poorly founded...
now I wish they would tell us something we don't know....

New Orleans again.....our trollies are still not up and working all the way down the line.
That is not to be expected until sometime in 2008...
owwwwwwwwwww and here for some excellent news....

Look out folks the Army Corp of Eng is going to test the levee system to make sure it is safe for hurricain season...but not until Aug of 07....hummmmmmmwhat?@##! ( really now...you know they are going to have to try to flood the levee to see if it can hold water...glad I don't live near a levee anymore...)
ok like uhm...hurricain season started June 1st of this year....I guess they don't plan on us havin' a hurricain until after Aug...glad they got the news letter on when and were the next one is gonna hit...
Funny though...they ( ACE) claim the levee system is up to par and can withstand a small weak teeny tiny hurrican one and well...now we should all be happy....
But...if one heads our way, if the levee's breech again..well then...we were told they are not strong enough, but can hold back a one and may not beable to hold it back if it is a strong one...
Uh....am I missing something or does this sound strange to you as well...

Now "they" say...( Not the Army Corp of Eng aka ACE ) that if another hurrican cames this way...the safest place to be is not in New Orleans...yep. I take it they understood the ACE group the same way I did...well thank god our taxes are going to some good use....

Why is crime up? maybe the lack of good officers...or heck...maybe because they aren't being paid enough in the first place...I truly do feel bad for all of the police officers that get such a bad rap for all of the rotten one's we have...yes, the same goes for all the good in this world that get's tarnished by all the bad.

You know...there is just so much in this world that needs to be fixed. Folks needin' to be fed and clothed..housed..
funny. In Havana IL, they are having a problem with the carp. Those fish are jumpin' out of the water and knockin' folks out...
ok..and why don't they catch the stuff...gut it and freez it...and pass it out to the homeless shelters...just like the over population of deer..
why just kill them to do just that....why not trim the feilds and feed the homeless and give to the food pantries...etc...

Ow and why the hell is it that the members of our government don't ever have to worry about social security like we do? what makes them so special??? we all shit the same colour...( well unless I have decided to eat some really colourfull food....)
What gives them the right to a brake when half of them don't do what they should in the first place. Hell I think they should have to pay into the social security system and have to count on that just like we do....Lord knows they make more money then we do...so they should have to pay into it right?
I think that would be a step in the right direction on finacing the social security fund....

Good news for the PickaninnyTree....yes about time...now it's all about me so there.
I donated a couple peices of my art work to be auctioned off by Yes art auction.
The money is to go to help rebuild the retirement homes and hospice centers here.
Well I was told they would only take 30% and give the artist 70% back if need be...hell I don't want the money. I mean it's not that I don't need it, we all do...but they need it more.

Anywho....the peice made it to the auction block and man was I shocked. For apeice of art that I was selling for $40.00 - $50.00 ( which I put an asking bid at $75.00)...man that peice sold for $200.00 yesssssss way cool. I didn't get to see it on t.v. being as our cable is out...
probably the Mayor's fault...he's out to get me because I refuse to be an umpa-lumpa....
Really man, the stupid cox cable folks cut the cable in the whole building so now I have to listen to myself..shit man that really sucks...
